Sid Uprety brings over 12 years of IAM and other technology experience. Sid holds an MBA, PMP (Project Management Professional) and ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certifications, and is an expert in the design, development and delivery of technology and communication solutions. Sid comes well qualified in all facets of projects from initial feasibility analysis, conceptual design through implementation, training and enhancement. Prior to CNSI, he was Senior Manager of Engineering at General Dynamics. In addition, Sid implemented IDMS solutions for companies such as Lockheed Martin and General Dynamics, as well as various U.S. Government agencies. During his tenure with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Sid helped manage and implement a directory migration project as well as an electronic filing system portal.

Currently at CNSI, Sid and his team support a range of clients, including the Federal Aviation Administration, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Department of Transportation, Department of Housing and Urban Development, and Amtrak.WHAT: As CNSI’s project manager at Federal Aviation Administration’s LAACS office, Uprety will jointly present this course discussing the Logical Access and Authorization Control Service (LAACS) and why it is necessary for FAA/DOT information security; including the importance of LAACS and its’ secure, effective, and efficient gov-to-gov, gov-to-business, and gov-to-citizen transactions. The course will outline how to take advantage of the LAACS services and discuss when they will become available.
