Washington State has been transitioning from Fee for Service to the Managed Care model of healthcare delivery for a majority of their Medicaid eligible residents. Medicaid expansion under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) has further accelerated the growth in Managed Care.  Managed Care contracts now cover over 80% of Medicaid clients. With the growth in plans and clients, and the increasing importance of ensuring compliance, the existing business processes of contract administration and compliance monitoring were at risk of being overwhelmed.

Washington has elected to implement CNSI’s Managed Care Solution, MC-Track® to receive all health plan submissions electronically, automate the routine aggregation of compliance data, and recognize and communicate exceptions for immediate action.  This also allows the State to track different healthcare measurements to ensure quality of care for its eligible residents.  Integrating MC-Track® with Washington’s ProviderOne MMIS leverages existing infrastructure investment and ensures adherence to security requirements.

While MC-Track integrates smoothly with Washington’s ProviderOne, it is also a stand-alone (or out-of–the-box) product that can integrate with any existing system by simply creating data exchanges.
