CNSI to provide telecom for Los Alamos

CNSI Inc. will operate and maintain voice and data telecommunications support services for Los Alamos National Laboratory under a five-year contract valued at as much as $32 million. Under the contract, CNSI, of Rockville, Md., will run the Los Alamos Integrated Communications System. The company will provide engineering services and will upgrade, enhance and add to the system. The previous contractor was Qwest Government Services Inc. The competitively bid contract has a three-year base period and two option years. It was awarded as a small-business set-aside, CNSI officials said.
