CNSI Named to Northern Virginia Technology Tech 100 List
Company Recognized for Health Tech Innovation During COVID-19

McLean, VA – December 17, 2020 – CNSI, a leading business solutions provider in developing and delivering innovative health information technology solutions, announced today that it was named to the Northern Virginia Technology Council’s (NVTC) Tech 100 list. The company was recognized for its health tech innovations related to COVID-19 for state and federal clients.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, CNSI quickly configured systems to accept new COVID-19 diagnostic and test codes and suspended necessary system controls to accelerate payments to providers. The company anticipated client needs by developing and deploying a s COVID-19 tracker that displays COVID-19 cases by state, with drill-down capability to the county level and with data tracked by age, gender, and race/ethnicity. The tracker depicts activity by health plan and cross references COVID-19 cases with typical comorbid conditions, such as diabetes, obesity, and diseases causing immune system suppression. New features include tracking vaccination deployment for vulnerable populations, including location of care (e.g., nursing homes), and understanding correlations between social determinants of health and prevalence of COVID-19.

“While this year has presented numerous challenges to every organization and individual, it is encouraging to see so many of the area’s tech companies and executives remain resilient and committed to the health and well-being of their employees, the success of their companies, and industry advancement. Congratulations to CNSI for being named a 2020 NVTC Tech 100 honoree and for the positive impact the firm has made in our region.” said Jennifer Taylor, NVTC president and CEO.

“As a longtime resident of Virginia and member of the business community, I am proud that CNSI has been recognized by NVTC for our outstanding contributions during a very difficult time,” said Todd Stottlemyer, CEO, CNSI. “Our mission is to help our clients improve the health and well-being of individuals and families through innovative and transformative technology-enabled solutions. We have  certainly done that this year.”
