INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

In the case of inclement weather conditions, employees are expected to make every effort to report to work. When the Federal or state government closes early or does not open for reasons of weather conditions, CNSI will do the same for employees working at those government sites. Time will be charged on a case-by-case basis, as determined by management and the customer in accordance with Federal timekeeping regulations for such occurrences. Please check with your manager to determine where such time will be charged on your timecard.

CNSI headquarters will remain open unless management makes a decision to close. Executive Management will determine whether the corporate office will open on time, be delayed, or be closed. Once the decision has been made, Human Resources designee will leave a message on the office inclement weather line by 7:00am. The office inclement weather line can be accessed at (301) 944-2077. In addition, updates will be posted on CNSI’s emergency website page at http://www.cns-inc.com/emergency/. In the event there is a delay or office closure due to inclement weather conditions, employees are expected to telecommute for the period the office is closed. If employees are unable to telecommute, time should be charged to personal leave or leave without pay.

In anticipation of inclement weather, the CNSI Rockville office will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, February 20, following the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) guideline for delays.
