  • Coordinate with the clients and the internal team to help resolve the tickets raised by the EDI trading partners. 
  • Coordinate with EDI trading partners to perform transaction tests (as required) and resolve all EDI transaction issues according to specification
  • Provide Support for EDI transactions including 834, 999, TA1s and 820 transactions.  
  • Communicate with external parties via email / phone to provide support related to EDI activities / issues.
  • Engage, support and coordinate with the issuers to submit their EDI Onboarding registration forms.  
  • Proactively contributes, offers recommendations, and identifies risks and solutions for various support related activities.
  • Gathers, consolidates and refines data to publish executive, operational, and management level reporting and analysis
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skill

Primary Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or scientific related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years in relevant experience
  • In depth knowledge of HIPAA/EDI X12 5010 healthcare-related file formats including 820 and 834 is required.
  • Efficient with commonly used EDI concepts, practices and procedures within the health care industry
  • Possess analytical and creative problem solving skills
  • Strong verbal and writing communication skills - both technical and non-technical and user friendly.
  • Specific knowledge of enrollment, and premium business processes in a commercial, Medicare, or Medicaid health plan/TPA organization.
  • Familiarity with EDI translation software and concepts is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Affordable Care Act of 2010 is a plus.
  • Familiarity with EDIFECS tool set like Spec Builder and Transaction Manager is a plus.
